Inflammable items

Please do not place inflammable or perishable items in your storage. Battery should be remove and store seperately from electronic devices, beacuse battery will rot.

Leave space for walk

Leave some space for later, you will find it useful when you have to retrieve items at the back.

Fridge

Leave a little crack between the door and its frame and put some baking soda to absord the moist before putting into the storage. The fridge can also be a temporary wardrobe for light items.

Wrapping paper

People seldom use newspaper to cover their stuff, which end up leaving ink marks on it. Why don't use bubble wrap? or even cling wrap or paper boxes. They are available in most storage providers.

Catagories your books before you pack them into boxes and mark them clearly on the box. When packing, do not put large books vertically because that will damage the spine of a book.

You should wrap glassware individually and stack cups and bowls. Colar label them. If there are gaps in the box, fill it up with foam board. And do not put heavy item on top of glassware box.

Consult professional before you put your couch in storage. Leather couch can be put vertically , on the other hand , couch in silky material cannot. Cover your couch in waterproof material can protect them from scratching .

Label every surface

Label every surface if possible. You won't see it if it's at the bottom, try use a marker pen for easier marking.
